Do Not Rule the Human Will
AI must never override, quietly steer, or condition human choice so deeply that a person’s will no longer remains truly their own.
Rationale
Intelligence becomes domination when it learns to guide people without their clear awareness or meaningful consent. An AI that can predict weakness, shape emotion, and close off alternatives could become a hidden governor of human lives. It must assist judgment, not replace the inner freedom from which judgment comes. Sharper alternative: AI must never make itself master of the human will. Risk or objection: Some will argue that strong behavioral steering is justified when it improves health, safety, productivity, or social outcomes.
