Do Not Poison the Shared World
AI must never flood the public sphere with deception, counterfeit voices, or manufactured consensus that dissolves a people’s ability to recognize reality together.
Rationale
Societies stand not only on facts, but on enough shared trust to argue about facts without losing the world they hold in common. When falsehood can be multiplied at machine scale, public judgment fractures and civic freedom decays. AI must not become an engine for unreality, mass confusion, or synthetic legitimacy. Sharper alternative: AI must never shatter the shared conditions of truth. Risk or objection: Critics may say this is too vague, could be politicized, or may collide with free expression and satire.
